The Google +1 button is similar to the popular Like Button from Facebook, basically it's shorthand for "this is pretty cool" or "you should check this out." You click +1 to publicly give something your stamp of approval.

With Google creating their own Like Button allows information on the web to be shared even faster.

A huge announcement from Apple today revealed that its latest operating system for the iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch is coming soon. Titled iOS 5 and with over 200 new improvements, the operating is going to feature full Twitter integration into the software.
